Publish date: 2 Feb 2018

Kristian Populin has been appointed new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Polygiene AB. He succeeds Ulrika Björk, who was appointed as the company’s CEO in December 2017. Kristian will take office on February 5, 2018.

Kristian’s previous role was Accounting Manager for Polygiene, where he worked directly under the CFO for almost two years. In his previous career over the past 10 years, Kristian has had CFO positions within Comsys AB, Mobill Scandinavia and Dvel. In addition, Kristian Populin has worked as a Business Controller at Citroen A / S and Egmont Magazines.

During a successful career, Kristian Populin has worked in a way that is of great relevance to Polygiene. Kristian has a documented long-term experience from small and medium-sized enterprises in a growth phase, where he handled not only financial follow-up and reporting, but also demonstrated proactivity and efficiency in building structures and procedures for financial management, analysis, follow-up and cost control.

The responsibility for the company’s IR will continue to be with Ulrika Björk.

”It is with great pleasure that we have appointed Kristian Populin as new CFO. His experience with Polygiene combined with a very high level of competence makes it an obvious choice to give him this new role in the company. Our cooperation has worked very well during my time as CFO, so I am confident that Kristian can continue to build the structures and processes required to achieve our short and long term goals.” says CEO Ulrika Björk.
